Cantho is located from 9^o34'43" to 10^o19'25" northern latitude and from  105^o19'51" to 105^o54'36" western longitude. With the area of 2.983km², including Cantho city, ViThanh town and seven districs: O Mon, Thot Not, Chau Thanh, Chau Thanh A, Phung Hiep, Vi Thanh, Long My.
